Installation process
How to Install a Modern Ceiling Light

*1. To avoid the risk of electric shock, be sure to turn off the main power switch before installation or maintenance.

*2. Screw the screws into the junction box, inside 2/3, outside 1/3.

*3. Connect the black and white wires of the light to the two wires of the same color in the junction box, with wire caps. Connect the light fixture's ground wire to the wire cap in the junction box.

*4. Tuck all wires and connections into the junction box. Align and insert the mounting holes on the clamp with the follower screws, then turn the clamp clockwise. Use a screwdriver to adjust the outer length of the screw to secure the clip to the wall.

*5. Put the shade back on the light fixture, cover it with the top ring, secure the shade and top ring with the 3 compression nuts.

*6. Turn on the power and turn on the light switch to activate the light.
